Tony Danza back at NEHS for talent show

TV star Tony Danza, who briefly taught at Northeast High School for a cable network show, will emcee the school’s talent show at 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 20. He’ll also perform a song-and-dance routine. The show is open to the public, and tickets can be purchased at the door for $10. Students, who purchase tickets ahead of showtime, can get them for $5. Everyone else who buys ahead of time will pay $7.

The show is a school fundraiser. Danza has acquired the support of Ron Perelman, who is willing to match whatever the school raises, up to $10,000. Also, Danza has arranged the same deal with an anonymous third-party donor, according to the school.
